Senshi Ryu Martial Arts are proud to have joined a national initiative called The Junior Leadership Academy. This initiative is aimed at 11-17 year old martial artists who aspire to take the next step into becoming junior leaders and role models for their colleagues, both in Senshi Ryu, and in other areas of their lives.
Junior members who are successful in their application to join our scheme, will undergo a six month training programme where they will develop their leadership skills and confidence, as well as learn other skills that will serve them in all areas of their personal development both inside and outside the dojo.
Those that successfully graduate will be offered the opportunity to continue their development by joining our volunteer team who assist others in our classes. This amazing opportunity is available to members of any grade who are between 11 and 17 years old, although suitable members who are outside of this range will of course be considered for a place.
