Our Little Dragons programme teaches respect, concentration and following directions. The children will develop their social skills through group activities, and will improve their fitness, co-ordination and fine motor skills.
This is all done through age-appropriate martial arts classes, where the children learn whilst having loads of fun!
My son has been doing Karate with Sensei Simon and the team since their inception.
This time has bought us many rewards from improved self-confidence, to a greater awareness of how to carry out self-defence techniques correctly and within legal limits. Karate has definitely boosted his fitness and helped him develop a love of pursuing physical activities as part of his daily life.
Plus, we love the family atmosphere and encouragement offered to all students.
Senshi Ryu, where our son attends, is very special. The quality of the teaching is at a very high standard. The instructors are very passionate in what they are teaching, from young children to adults.
And as for our son, who is a young child, Senshi Ryu has really given him so much confidence and has really inspired him to do more. It is not just about self-defence, it's also about the mind in how it can think in ways of achieving and working in a Team.
As I have witnessed, I see so much dedication by the instructors and the way they are so inspiring and for our son this is making a real difference in his life and his development, One thing I must say, that the teachers are so patient and can identify what each persons needs are, in thesSkills they are Learning,
Our son is so inspired with the routines being taught to him, I am so impressed in how they work with him and I would highly recommend this type of teaching to any other young inspiring children.
My daughter has not only become stronger and more confident as an individual, but has also gained more self-discipline, and better awareness of her surroundings.
She has really taken to this martial art, even though she was initially afraid she may be too ‘weak’ to attend a martial art programme. She loves Senshi Ryu, her peers, and her Sensei. She looks forward to class every week!
Simon the owner is very forthright with communicating the students’ efforts with their parents, and is very knowledgeable and well versed in his field.
I’m so glad I chose Senshi Ryu for my daughter and, as a parent, I urge all parents to try their taster classes!
